The following are my personal opinions and I invoc the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and any other Ammendments capable to keep me out of political trouble. Every article was either a dream so vivid that I had to put it on paper, or something debated on in the Media, giving me the starting point for my own rantings. If you are not happy, mayhap I touched some hidden truth and made you think...?

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
Who's the most beautiful of them all?
You are!

Why does this sound like a very well known old story?

Several good years ago, a young girl sat in front of her computer camera and, to please her Internet boyfriend, she took off all her clothes and let him ogle her. He, being less simple minded, made a file with the images transmitted and set her for public visualization and personal profit on the Internet. This was at the beginning of the new electronic gadget era, and the scandal was proportional with the outrage.

You think they learn...

A man had taken advantage of a naive teen and made a profit from it! How contemptible of him!

But what of her? Was she simply a naive, trusting soul, or straight forward stupid? How far should these electronic games be taken before young girls (and boys) learn that the old values still have some value even today?

So, should we deduce that the young girl of this old story grew up to become a teacher, but in no ways less "naive" than before? Is this the same person who got in front of an Internet connected camera and let herself be taken in the buff for the enjoyment of the world at large?

But the question was -- should she loose her livelihood for this one (or more) indiscretions?

In a world in which decency is of no value, her behavior is just plain normal. If it were for Playboy, she would have made a lot of money, would have been admired, envied (remember Monika of "this is not sex" episode?) and become a celebrity. Being just a plain teacher, she lost her employment and now, who knows, maybe she will start making money with her own nude images...

It is supposed she made the photo to be transmitted by Phone to someone else. Hmm... Could it be that that someone else has publicized the photo? There is no need to steal the camera. Identities are stolen everyday on the Internet.

Sometime in my youth, I was told that, in matters of sex, stupid is not the one who takes. Stupid is the one who gives! Start listening and learning, please...

On one hand, I can understand the righteous anger against the teacher who let it all be seen... Parents especially...

On the other hand, it might be amusing to have a teacher about whom you have no doubts... Boys especially...

Remember -- in this time and technology, you do it on your own risk. And I'll really enjoy saying "I told you so!"
