You may want to choose your own software that you will need to help create your photo collage. Once you've figured out how to do it properly, using digital photography you will be able to create the most amazing photo collages ever.

Begin by choosing the digital photographs that you will want in your photo collage. You don't need that many when you are first beginning to learn how to create a photo collage, but get out as many as you think you might need. Sometimes it's difficult to decide between similar pictures -- they are never exactly identical, but you might have enthusiastically clicked and got so many of them...

Open a blank document in your photo editing software and you can begin creating your photo collage. You will want your blank document to be the same size that you are intending your photo collage to end up being.

Holding the shift key down will allow you to drag the digital photographs where you want them without distorting the images. Aside positioning, you may want to look into resizing your photographs. Depending on the layout of your photo collage you can go back and forth changing the sizes of the photographs until you get it the way that you like.

Finally, you will need to find that perfect photograph that you are going to make the centerpiece for you photo collage and that would go right in the middle.
